Pretending to be a Stone
fineline
The fineline series consists of different ceramic utilitarian vessels. These are made using the Nerikomi technique. This method combines different coloured clays to create fine and detailed patterns. Each fineline object is carefully designed by layering, compressing and shaping the coloured clays. An important step in the process is the precise sanding of each object.

Tentakuläres Gestalten
Denkmuster & Fadenspiele
The process of recognising, analysing and dissolving one's own thought patterns and the various perceptions within the respective stages are the focus of this work.
These subjective perceptions become visible through the implementation in different artistic works, through the personal confrontation of the viewers with them and thus become comprehensible.
Among other things, Donna Haraway's "Tentacular Thinking" is used as a method for releasing thought patterns and enabling new thinking.
A constant change of perspective, the separation and connection of links play an important role, as does the search for a new togetherness that transcends conventional boundaries.
This serves not only as a theoretical basis, but also as a practice that integrates the works of other artists in exchange, thus creating interactions and emphasising their significance.
Overall, this work is intended as an invitation to the viewers to become aware of their own thought patterns and to encourage (joint) reflection.

Energy in the landscape
Between 1946 and 1958, the United States detonated 23 nuclear weapons on Bikini Atoll. For this, all the inhabitants of the islands had to relocate and have not been able to return to this day.
In this series, I have visualised 10 of the 23 detonations in one etching each.

I am an artist and designer interested in the invisible spaces,
the dissolving and linking of connections and the relationship between the inside and the outside.
The base of my work is observation and perception; a process-oriented way of working guarantees an openness to different arising impulses and the usage of varying media.
